A n audiologist is a health professional dedicated to the science of hearing testing. At the Delaware Speech and Hearing Center, all of our audiologists have earned advanced degrees and are certified and licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. In addition to being licensed to dispense hearing aids, our audiologists consistently distinguish themselves by publishing consumer articles, receiving high performance ratings, and earning continuing education hours to benefit patients and to maintain certification and licensure requirements. Joan, MA, CCC-A, is Lead Audiologist at the Delaware Speech and Hearing Center. Joan earned her Master of Arts in Audiology from Akron University, and has been named an Academy of Audiology Scholar for each of the last three years. This award recognizes Joan's outstanding commitment to continuing education in the field of Audiology. Joan sees clients at both the Grady Memorial Hospital and Powell locations.
Audiologist Allison, AuD., CCC-A, joined the Delaware Speech and Hearing Center in the fall of 2006. Allison earned degrees from Ohio University, Miami University and Salus University, George Osborne College of Audiology. Allison sees clients at the Grady Memorial Hospital Location.
Executive Director Guy Naples, MA, CCC-SLP/A, joined the Delaware Speech and Hearing Center in 1984, and has ably guided the Center through over 20 years of growth and change. He earned his Master of Arts in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from Ohio University. Guy sees clients at the Powell location.
