Summer Preschool Language Program |
|
Since 1986 the Delaware Speech and Hearing Center has operated the Summer Preschool Language Program to meet the needs of children between the ages of two through five with various types of language delays. The purpose of this program is to facilitate language growth, cognitive, fine and gross motor skills in a classroom/social setting. Activities are designed to meet the needs of each child.
The program is staffed with certified and licensed speech-language patholgists who have experience in early intervention, autism/PPD, expressive and receptive language delays, modified picture exchange system, and picture schedules. In addition, a teacher-aide is available to assist with the individual needs of each child. The Summer Preschool Language Program just completed its 23rd session! Registration materials for the 2009 program will be available in early spring.
