The Delaware Speech and Hearing Center is the only local Agency that has consistently met the standards set forth by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) since 1959 and is licensed to provide the full range of speech pathology and Audiology services including the identification, assessment and treatment of speech, language, hearing and balancing disorders. The Delaware Speech and Hearing Center is a non-profit United Way Agency that is governed by a Board of Directors. Each year the Center delivers more than 14,000 half-hour units of service to individuals with speech, language, hearing, balancing and swallowing disorders. DSHC is funded in part by United Way of Delaware County, the Council for Older Adults, corporations, foundations, and individual contributions.With your support we are able to continue the high quality and standards for each client at our center. Our services are available to those in our community and surrounding areas at our main Center, 494 West Central Avenue, and our satellite offices located in Grady Memorial Hospital, and at 3940 North Hampton Drive in Powell. Our Vision To be the leading provider of speech, language, hearing, balance, and swallowing services in the Central Ohio area by offering the highest quality diagnosis and treatment; and to lead, communicate and instruct the community in the pursuit of conserving, and preventing the loss of speech, language, hearing, balancing and swallowing abilities at a reasonable cost.
